What is the Computer Science program?

The Computer Science program teaches you to use technology to solve problems by developing software, applications and websites.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn the fundamentals of software development and get hands-on experience developing software applications. This program will teach you to write software to make computers do new things or accomplish tasks more efficiently. You’ll also be able to create applications for mobile devices, develop websites, and program software.

What can I do with this course of study?

With your associate degree in computer science, you’ll be prepared to enter the workforce in an entry-level position in software development and related fields or to transfer into a 4-year computer science program.
